£2,000 for the first year of the programme.

Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee or by cheque.
How many scholarships are awarded annually?
30 scholarships.
What are the criteria for this scholarship?
An outstanding academic profile relevant to your course (equivalent to a UK 1st class honours degree) as assessed by NARIC
High level of English proficiency (if English is not your first language)
An outstanding personal profile as evidenced in your personal statement.
3 years outstanding work experience considered

Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarship
Financial need will not be taken into consideration.

BU Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship- September 2011 entry
This scholarship is offered to students who have applied to study a taught postgraduate (Masters) degree at BU and who are nationals of one of the following countries: Ghana, India, Nigeria, Thailand or Vietnam.

Nationals of the following countries, who are residing in their home country at the time of application and required to pay fees as the international (non-EU) rate are eligible to apply.

To which courses does this scholarship apply?
All full-time BU postgraduate courses.
How much is the scholarship worth?
50% of tuition fee payable for the standard duration of the course (excludes repeat units/years).
How is this scholarship paid?
Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee or cheque.
How many scholarships are awarded annually?
Ten (two for each eligible country)
What are the criteria for this scholarship?
You must be able to demonstrate an exceptional academic profile (equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours degree as assessed by NARIC)
You must be able to demonstrate an outstanding personal profile as evidenced in your personal statement.

Successful applicants will normally be informed by 31 August 2011. Although we may contact you with a decision in principle based on any predicted grades, your award will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm offer.
Business School Postgraduate Scholarship- September 2011 and January 2012 entry
This scholarship is offered to students who have applied to study any Masters programme in the Business School beginning in September 2011 and January 2012.

All full-time and part-time MA/MSc degrees offered by the Business School.

£2,000.

Bournemouth University International Postgraduate Scholarship- September 2011 and January 2012 entry
This scholarship is offered to international (non-EU) applicants for BU postgraduate degrees beginning in September 2011 and January 2012. You will be eligible to apply for a BU Postgraduate International Scholarship if you can demonstrate an outstanding academic profile relevant to your course. An outstanding academic profile is one which is considered to be equivalent to a UK 1st class Honours degree as assessed by NARIC.

The value of each scholarship will depend on the course as follows:

School of Design, Engineering & Computing - (£1,000)
